Brenda Poole, 68, of Brownsburg, went to be with The Lord, with her family by her side, on Thursday, July 27, 2017 in Brownsburg, Indiana.  She was born on June 3, 1949 in Indianapolis, Indiana to her late father and birth-mother, Ovid Clayton and Mary Ann McGill.

Brenda loved visiting Brown County with her family and attending yearly fall festivals. She was the most beautiful woman, both inside and out, and was never caught leaving the house without her lipstick or accessories. She loved The Lord and spent many years serving as a Sunday School teacher at her church. But most of all, she loved her family and the time she was able to spend with them.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Jimini Gasvoda (Brad); son, Jamie McGill; 5 grandchildren, Brock, Blake, Zach, Chase and Harper; 1 great-granddaughter, Emery; mother, Hazel Byers; sisters, Janie Wycoff, Linda Brown, Micki Carter, and Cheri Scott; brothers, Ronnie McGill (Charlene), and Steve McGill (Debbie); and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Connection Pointe Christian Church in Brownsburg on August 12, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 am. Memorial service will be held immediately after, at 11:00 am, with Connection Pointe Christian Church officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory.

My dear sweet twin sister, Susie, Thank you for so many beautiful years together. I will treasure every memory that we made together. I just want to let you know that you will never leave my side, as I will carry you in my heart forever. In my heart-of-hearts, I know that you went straight to heaven, and I can only imagine how beautiful you look as an Angel, in your long, white gown, with your Angel wings and halo. God Bless you, and keep you in HIS loving care forever. I will love you forever & ever. Your loving twin sister, Linda “GGB”

Aunt Beeba – what a blessing to my life it has been to be your niece. From being a little girl who wanted to put on her make up and lipstick just like you to growing up and working together, I have so many memories. We had those moments when something in a room would make me laugh and all I had to do is look at you across the room and you were laughing at the same thing. We would laugh until we had tears in our eyes, what I wouldn’t give to trade the tears I have today with those tears of laughter we shared. From our deep conversations to our inside jokes our relationship made my life better. After blowing a kiss goodbye to all of us left here on earth you arrived at the gates of heaven with that signature smile. I know heaven was rejoicing the day God called you home for they received the most beautiful angel released from pain and fear,
    I love and miss you
“Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand”

    Dearest Aunt Brenda,
Even though I am technically only Aunt Linda’s niece, I have always claimed you as my awesome, sweet Aunt Brenda, and you always claimed me as your “Little Kimi.” I am heartbroken over your passing, but pray you are no longer in pain. You were one of the kindest, most gentle, caring, accepting, and loving people I have ever had the great pleasure of knowing and the gift of calling family. You touched everyone who knew and loved you with grace, acceptance, joy, beauty and love. I am a better person for having been loved by you. I will miss you. I can only imagine what a beautiful Angel you make. Heaven has definitely gained more beauty & grace with you there. Rest easy and peacefully, Aunt Brenda and know how much you are loved and missed.

    Love, “Your Little Kimi”

What a truly beautiful angel that heaven has now. I never met you but felt I knew you through your beautiful sister, Linda. You fought a long hard battle with grace and dignity. May you be at peace with God’s loving arms around you.

Rest in peace my high school buddy. Just remembering all the good times we had with our club sisters (Colettes). Did some crazy stuff, but what fun. All the dances we use to go to. All the boys we met from the east side. Our xmas job at McCroys our senior year. Our first job at Lane Bryant. You were always so beautiful with those big brown eyes. You never had any trouble getting the guys. But your beauty was in your heart. Such a kind and gentle soul. Wish we could have kept in touch all these years. Good friends are hard to come by. God bless you sweet girl.💔
